we had central heating and a television with satellite channels in the king room.

The hotel was a fabulous base for exploring Locarno. I really enjoyed my stay. - the property is in a great and awesome location very close to the slope, garden, and the center.

The stay was very nice. Everything in this unique and beautiful hotel was perfectly fine, we loved it. The staff was helpful and nice throughout the day. It was functional, big and in front of the bed. The breakfast was sensational, had a wide range of options and the food was appetising❤👍

Got well-kept room with ABSOLUTELY SUPERB views of the lake and satellite TV and central heating. Free parking in front of the building provided. Not to mention great wifi!

I absolutely adored the hotel's decoration and ambiance. The cozy, traditional Ticino-style furnishings reminded me of my grandmother's home and made me feel right at ease. The general areas were spotless and well-maintained, offering a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. As a senior, I truly appreciated the accessibility of the hotel. The well-kept garden and terrace provided lovely views of Locarno and Lake Maggiore, which I could enjoy from the comfort of the deckchairs. It was a peaceful haven, perfect for relaxation.

If I had to mention one thing that could have made my vacation even better as a senior, it would be helpful if the staff were a bit more attentive. While they were generally friendly, there were a few instances where I felt they could have been more considerate towards us senior guests.

The location was perfect, with a peaceful atmosphere and a stunning panorama of the city. The breakfast spread was impressive, featuring a variety of delicious options including fresh bread, croissants, eggs, cold cuts. The outdoor sitting area was a great place to relax with complimentary WiFi and coffee or drinks. The free parking area was a major plus, and the surrounding area was quiet and serene. The pensione had an electric heater to keep us cozy in the chilly nights. With a short walk to the picturesque coastal town and easy access to the Verzasca Valley, this place offered the perfect blend of tranquility and adventure. The owner even provided dinner upon request. There was a nearby grocery store and the ambiance was reminiscent of Italy. We felt like part of the family the moment we arrived, thanks to the warm and hospitable host. I have already recommended this place to my loved ones and will undoubtedly return on my next visit.

Who needs privacy when you can have a shower in the middle of the room? The lack of hot water at night was a delightful surprise. The resident kitties were the highlight of my stay.

The shower situation was simply a stroke of genius. I can't think of anything negative to say.

The panoramic view of Locarno and Lake Maggiore from the garden terrace was breathtaking. It felt like being on top of the world, sipping a drink and taking in the stunning scenery.

Communication with the owner could be improved.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The view from the terrace was amazing, overlooking the lake and mountains. The room wasnice and neat, with a spacious shower. The breakfast served on the terrace was delicious and varied. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was convenient, with easy access to transportation and a short trip to Verzasca Valley and the Golden Eye dam.

There was nothing we didn't like.
